Mission

Mission Celebrate is a small business based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, specializing in custom stationery, invitations, and design – but with a larger mission to create relationships with clients, collect memories, and treat every day like the celebration that it truly is.

The Mission Celebrate Story

In the late nineties and early two thousands, Leslie Gonce didn’t refer to herself as an artist. Leslie had been creating invitations and stationery for her daughters and, at first, she was using very basic computer programs and flipping through “clip art” to use for designs. After continuing to look around for what she was envisioning for certain projects and growing frustrated that what she was thinking of was just not out there, Leslie decided to create her own graphics and artwork. She started designing, drawing, and painting the things she was envisioning.

In 2006, after several years of enjoying the artistic process involved in creating artwork for personal use, Leslie opened YourStationeryStop and began providing local customers with cute invitations and stationery. Since that time, Leslie also started designing spirit shirts for classes and school groups her girls were involved in and expanded to include YourTshirtStop.

Over the years, though, Leslie has added many other services based solely on client requests – including, but not limited to, custom event and logo design, as well as custom watercoloring and handlettering projects.

The overarching mission of Leslie’s business has been to “help customers celebrate life’s milestones and moments”, but over the years that business mission has become more like a life mission. Therefore, the need to re-brand under a new business name became apparent in 2020 and after a year of contemplating the switch, Mission Celebrate was born! This new name encompasses not only all the products and services Leslie offers clients, but also her larger mission to, simply, celebrate this wonderful life each day as it comes.

“Every day is made up of moments and memories that are worth celebrating.”
