Hi! I’m Leslie Gonce, the artist here @ Mission Celebrate. I have loved following Karen on Instagram (instagram.com/choosing_to_reset) for her encouraging and positive posts. Her daily greeting of, “Well, good morning, friends!” has become something I look forward to each morning. I was inspired to create the “Well, Good Morning, Friends” art as a “happy” for Karen to thank her for the daily inspiration.

(If you don’t know what a “happy” is, don’t feel bad! I didn’t either when I moved from Waco, Texas, to Clinton, Mississippi, in the eighth grade. Folks in Mississippi call small gifts that make someone happy….a “happy”. Isn’t that cute? I quickly loved using the term but I also like to explain it!)

After sharing the art with Karen (she loved it!), other followers of hers also loved the art and inquired about purchasing merchandise with the greeting art. Feeling as this was just all a bit of kismet, Leslie created a listing for mugs with both the, “Good Morning Friends” greeting and Karen’s HOPE acronym (Healthy Lifestyle, Optimism, Persistence, Encouragement). All proceeds from purchases will be donated to Karen’s charity of choice.

So, if you’re buying a “Well, Good Morning, Friends” mug, each time you use or see it, you’ll know you’ve helped a cause near and dear to Karen
